As a brand dedicated to salon professionals, we are committed to minimising our environmental footprint while upholding the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

1. Our Sustainability Philosophy

We design and produce each StarGoldPro.com™ product with a conscious focus on sustainability. From packaging choices to logistics and regulatory partnerships, our environmental responsibility is embedded in every stage of the value chain.

  • 100% recyclable primary and secondary packaging
  • Minimal, responsibly sourced materials
  • Active compliance with EU environmental legislation
  • Professional-only use to minimise overconsumption and waste

2. Packaging Materials & Design Principles

All of our product packaging — bottles, jars, caps, boxes, and protective materials — is selected with recyclability and environmental impact in mind.

  • Bottles: HDPE, PET or PP — all widely recyclable
  • Caps and pumps: PP or mixed materials — recyclable in most European systems
  • Outer packaging: FSC-certified cartons and sleeves (where applicable)
  • No use of outer shrink-wrap unless absolutely necessary for product integrity

We continue to evaluate eco-friendly alternatives including refill options and lighter packaging to reduce transport emissions.

3. Recycling Instructions & Disposal Guidelines

We strongly encourage all salons and distributors to recycle used containers and packaging responsibly.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Rinse empty containers before disposal
  • Separate plastic caps from bottles where local recycling requires it
  • Flatten cartons for easier processing
  • Do not dispose of full or partially used product in general waste or water systems

When in doubt, consult your local waste management authority or contact us directly for assistance.

4. EPR Compliance & Registration Numbers

StarGoldPro OÜ complies with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations in all EU countries where our products are distributed.

We are officially registered with national compliance organisations in the following countries:

  • 🇫🇷 France (Citéo): IDU nº FR420713_01QVIB
  • 🇵🇹 Portugal (APA): nº de registo PT01113907
  • 🇪🇸 Spain: Registration pending (in progress)

We also ensure timely reporting of packaging volumes, pay environmental contribution fees, and apply appropriate sorting and recycling labelling where required.

5. Triman Logo & Sorting Information (France)

In accordance with French law (Décret n° 2014-1577), all StarGoldPro.com™ products distributed in France include the Triman logo and appropriate sorting instructions (Info-tri) on outer packaging or associated documents.

If you are based in France and require guidance on how to sort or present StarGoldPro™ packaging in your salon, please contact our local compliance partner or reach out to us directly.

6. Responsible Use & Salon Support

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond packaging. As part of our professional-only approach, we work to:

  • Avoid product waste through correct application and portion control
  • Provide professional training and onboarding support
  • Encourage long-term use of refillable accessories and tools
  • Promote conscious use of water and energy during salon treatments
